Three-pole block design delivers a compact footprint (45 mm wide) while handling up to 690 V mains, reducing panel depth and simplifying wiring for space-constrained cabinets. This translates to faster assemblies and lower enclosure costs in automated lines and packaging systems. The device uses Push-in terminals and flexible connection options for mains, auxiliary, and control circuits, cutting field-w wiring time and improving termination reliability in vibration-prone environments. Coil voltage of 220–230 V AC (50 Hz) / 230–240 V AC (60 Hz) standardizes global control schemes and reduces stocking complexity, while low coil consumption supports energy efficiency and reduced heat in control cabinets. DIN rail mounting options TH35-15 and TH35-7.5, along with optional screw mounting, simplify retrofits and new installations in panel builders’ workflows. Rated AC-3 current at 690 V ranges from 7 A to 9 A depending on temperature, with AC-1 ratings up to 25 A, delivering versatile motor-control capabilities in conveyors, fans, and pumps. The unit features IP20 protection, wide environmental tolerance (-40 to 70 C), and a compact size that eases integration into existing enclosures, reducing lifecycle costs and maintenance. Global certifications, including CE, UKCA, UL/CSA, BV, CQC, CCC, ensure compliant deployment across regions and industries, from food processing to material handling, with minimal design changes required.

FAQs
Yes. The AFC09-30-01K-80 supports DIN rail mounting with TH35-15 and TH35-7.5 rails, enabling quick, tool-free installation in standard control panels. For fixed installations, screws can be used with two M4 fasteners. This flexibility simplifies retrofits and new builds, reducing installation time and ensuring secure, vibration-resistant mounting in industrial environments.
For AC-3, the unit provides up to 7 A at 690 V (60 °C) and 9 A under certain conditions, with AC-3e mirroring similar current at high voltages. For AC-1, it supports up to 25 A at 690 V. These ratings cover typical motor starter loads in automation panels, including fans and pumps, while ensuring safe de-energization and controlled switching under load.
The AFC09-30-01K-80 carries CE and UKCA marks, UL/CSA listings, and supporting certifications such as BV, CQC, CCC, and CCC DoC. It also aligns with IEC/EN 60947-4-1 and UL 60947-4-1 standards. This breadth of approvals supports cross-border deployments in manufacturing, processing, and packaging environments while meeting regulatory and safety requirements.
Ideal for motor-control applications in conveyors, pumps, fans, and general machine control within automation cabinets. Its 3P configuration, 690 V main circuit rating, and 1 NC auxiliary contact support essential control logic, while Push-in terminals and DIN-rail mounting simplify integration in compact control panels and retrofit projects.
The AFC09-30-01K-80 uses a low-to-moderate coil consumption profile (holding ~8 V·A at 50/60 Hz and pull-in values around 66–70 V·A). Lower coil current reduces heat generation and energy use in long-running systems, contributing to better overall efficiency, reduced cooling load, and improved reliability of control circuits in demanding industrial environments.
