That's why we offer a completely FREE motor repair assessment service to customers across the UK, with absolutely no obligation to proceed with repairs. We collect your faulty motor, carry out comprehensive diagnostic testing at our workshop, and provide a detailed quotation – all at no cost to you. If you decide not to proceed, we return your motor free of charge.

How It Works

Step 1: FREE Collection

We arrange FREE collection of your faulty motor from any UK mainland address. Our courier collects motors up to 132 frame size at no charge. For larger motors (160 frame and above), a small collection fee may apply – we'll confirm this before collection is arranged. Most collections are completed within 48 hours of your request.

Step 2: FREE Testing & Diagnosis

Once your motor arrives at our workshop, our qualified motor engineers carry out comprehensive diagnostic testing using advanced equipment including insulation resistance testing (Megger), winding resistance measurements, continuity checks, and visual inspection. We identify all faults affecting your motor's performance and assess the full scope of repair required. This is completed by an expert motor engineer at our custom-built workshop with testing capabilities up to 500kW and in-house balancing facilities.

Step 3: FREE Detailed Quotation

Within 48 hours of testing, you receive a detailed, itemised quotation covering all labour, replacement parts, testing, and our 12-month warranty. Our quotations are transparent with no hidden costs – the price we quote is the price you pay. We explain exactly what repairs are needed and why, so you can make an informed decision.

Step 4: Your Decision – No Obligation

Accept our quotation and we proceed with the repair, keeping you informed throughout the process. Decline and we return your motor FREE of charge (motors up to 132 frame). For larger motors, a small return delivery charge may apply. There's absolutely no pressure – the decision is entirely yours.

 *FREE collection applies to UK mainland addresses only (excludes Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and offshore islands). Motors up to 132 frame size qualify for free collection and return. In-House Balancing Service

Amongst the specialist equipment housed in our workshop is our own balancing machine, able to service rotors and armatures from 90 frame motors up to 400 frame – covering 1.5kW to over 500kW. This allows us to balance all our repairs independently, meaning more control and oversight throughout the repair process and, ultimately, a better result for our customers.
