FAQs

The AFC12-30-10K-84 supports DIN-rail mounting on TH35-15 or TH35-7.5 rails, and it can also be screwed in place with 2 x M4 screws placed diagonally. This combination provides flexible installation in compact cabinets, helping ensure alignment with other devices and reducing panel depth requirements.
For AC-3 at 690 V, the device provides up to 12 A, with AC-3e ratings around 12 A as specified. For AC-1 at 690 V, the rated operational current is 28 A. The unit also delivers 5.5 kW at 415 V and up to 7.5 kW at 690 V in AC-3, aligning with typical motor-control loads in industrial settings.
Yes. With 3 main contacts and 1 NO auxiliary, a compact 45 mm width, 92.3 mm height, and a 0.314–0.334 kg weight, the AFC12-30-10K-84 is well-suited for motor-start and load-switching in manufacturing lines. It provides robust Icw performance, fast operate times, and reliable 50/60 Hz control voltage support, helping to minimize downtime.
The device complies with IEC 60947-1 and IEC 60947-4-1, with UL 60947-4-1 and CSA C22.2 listings. It also maintains CE and UKCA markings where applicable, and RoHS/WEEE compliance is documented, ensuring suitability for global installations and supplier certifications.
Key ROI drivers include low coil power loss (0.26–1.43 W per pole under rated conditions), fast operate times (as little as 9 ms coil de-energization to NC contact closure), and predictable thermal behavior (Θ = 40 °C). These factors reduce energy use, minimize thermal stress, and extend component life in automated lines.
