FAQs

Install the block contactor on a TH35 DIN rail (TH35-15 or TH35-7.5) per IEC 60715. Use Push-in Spring Terminals for main and control circuit connections; Fitting requires 2 x M4 screws if mounting by screws is chosen. For wiring, flexible or rigid conductors from 0.5 to 6 mm² main circuit and 0.5 to 2.5 mm² control circuit are supported, with recommended tail lengths per spec.
The coil operates at 110 V AC 50/60 Hz, with drive compatibility across common mains. Main circuit is rated up to 690 V, with AC-3 current up to 32 A and AC-1 up to 50 A. This enables motor switching for loads up to about 18.5 kW at higher voltages, making it suitable for conveyors, pumps, and fans in industrial lines.
Yes, the device is designed for industrial environments with IP20 terminations and a wide operating temperature range (-40 to 70°C). It carries IEC/EN 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, and CSA C22.2 certification broadly, plus CE, UKCA, and other declarations, helping compliance across global markets and reducing regulatory risk in panel builds.
The AFC family uses a block design that accepts add-on auxiliary contact blocks and accessories, enabling expanded monitoring and interlocking without swapping the base unit. This supports custom control logic, safer interlocks, and easier diagnostics, delivering scalable automation for evolving machine requirements.
Power loss is 2.44 W per pole in AC-1 operations and 1 W per pole in AC-3, improving overall energy efficiency in duty cycles. Operate time ranges from 7 to 26 ms depending on energization and contact type, enabling quick start/stop sequences in high-speed automation and reducing mechanical wear over time.
