Feature → Business Impact → Application. The four-pole block contactor design handles high-current power switching with robust insulation for demanding motor control, enabling reliable operation in automation lines and conveyors. This supports reduced downtime and improved process stability in automotive, packaging, and material handling environments. Coil voltage options of 230–240 V at 50/60 Hz and 277 V at 60 Hz provide flexible integration with common European and North American mains, simplifying panel wiring and stocking. The device delivers AC-1 rated currents up to 55 A and AC-3 up to 23.2 A at relevant voltages, translating to safer starter circuits and better drive control in fans, pumps, and presses. IP20 protection with screw terminals and DIN rail mounting reduces field wiring complexity and speeds installation, while accessory blocks enable scalable control architectures and future-proofing. Low power loss per pole (2.3 W for AC-1, 0.42 W for AC-3) improves overall energy efficiency in continuous operation and minimizes heat in control cabinets. In practice, these features support compliance, lifecycle cost reduction, and dependable performance in industrial environments.

FAQs

Install the unit on a TH35 DIN rail using the TH35-15 or TH35-7.5 mount options. Use the included or appropriate M4 mounting screws to secure it if needed. Wire the main circuit with flexible or rigid conductors within the 16 mm² limit per conductor, and connect the control circuit to a 230–240 V AC 50/60 Hz or 277 V AC 60 Hz coil supply. Ensure IP20 terminals are protected and that tightening torques (2.5 N·m for main, 1.2 N·m for control) are observed to maintain safety and reliability.
The coil supports 230–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz and 277 V AC at 60 Hz. This makes the device compatible with common European and North American control circuits, enabling straightforward integration into existing control panels without additional transformers or adapters.
For AC-1 at 690 V, the contactor rated current is up to 55 A. For AC-3 at 230/240 V, the rating is about 23.2 A. The device also lists corresponding power and short-time withstand values (Icw) and integrates with loads in the 5.5 kW range for AC-3 at the lower voltages, making it suitable for motor starters and soft-start applications in automation environments.
This product carries CE and UKCA marks for European and UK markets, along with UL/CSA, CB, BV, DNV, and RINA approvals for global compatibility. These certifications help ensure compliance with regional electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and performance standards, which is critical for procurement in regulated industries and multinational facilities.
Key maintenance considerations include periodic inspection of screw terminals for tightness (2.5 N·m main, 1.2 N·m control), monitoring coil-to-contact wear, and checking insulation integrity. With a low per-pole power loss (2.3 W AC-1, 0.42 W AC-3), estimated Icw values, and a compact footprint, uptime improves and energy costs reduce. The availability of accessory blocks also supports scalable, modular control, delivering a favorable total cost of ownership over time.
