FAQs

Mounting on a TH35 DIN rail is straightforward with the ABB AFC80 family. The 1SBL391501R8100 uses IEC 60715 TH35-15 rails and can be snapped into place for secure, vibration-resistant operation. When needed, two M4 or two M6 screws placed diagonally provide additional fixation. Ensure proper alignment and clearance for front terminals before wiring.
The main circuit is rated up to 1000 V with IEC/UL compliance. Main contacts: 2 NO + 2 NC, 4-pole, rated operational current Ie up to 125 A (AC-1 at 690 V, 40 °C). AC-3 ratings: 80 A at 415–500 V depending on voltage/temperature. The control circuit uses a 24 V AC coil (50/60 Hz) with coil consumption of 236 VA pull-in and 20 VA holding.
Yes. The contactor is designed for AC-1 and AC-3 motor control tasks with appropriate voltages, supporting up to 125 A at 690 V (AC-1) and delivering 45 kW in several AC-3 contexts. The 4-pole arrangement enables control of multi-line circuits and reduces wiring complexity, making it suitable for conveyors, pumps, and other heavy-load applications.
The unit carries IEC/EN 60947-1, 60947-4-1 and UL 60947-1, 60947-4-1 conformity marks, along with CE and UKCA declarations. It also has CB, BV, DNV, and RINA certificates for global deployment. RoHS and REACH compliance are stated, with WEEE classification as B2B, supporting regulatory readiness and cross-border installations.
Main circuit terminals accept flexible ferrule or rigid conductors up to 70 mm², with tightening torque of 6 N·m. Control circuit terminals use 0.75–2.5 mm² conductors with 1.2 N·m torque. UL/CSA values are 53 in-lb (main) and 11 in-lb (control). Stripping lengths are 17 mm for main and 10 mm for control circuits, ensuring reliable connections.
