FAQs
The AFC96-30-11-34 supports TH35-15 and TH35-7.5 DIN rails. Mount the relay using the specified DIN rail adapters and secure the unit with the recommended screws. For main circuit connections use rigid 6 to 70 mm² or ferrule-compatible conductors, and tighten to 6 N·m. Ensure control circuit torque is 1.2 N·m and verify clearance for auxiliary contact wiring to prevent arc flash during operation.
This contactor uses a control coil rated at 175 V AC 50 Hz or 208 V AC 60 Hz. The coil compatibility enables direct interface with common industrial control circuits without additional transformers. When wiring, observe coil terminal layouts and use appropriate control wiring practices to maintain coil performance and minimize nuisance tripping during startup.
Main circuit is 3-pole with NO contacts and no NC main contacts, suitable for AC-1 up to 130 A (at 690 V, 40 °C). Auxiliary contacts include 1 NO and 1 NC. The assembly supports controlled signaling and feedback for sequencing and interlocks, improving control reliability and enabling safer shutdown where auxiliary feedback is required.
Yes. The AFC96-30-11-34 aligns with IEC/EN 60947-1 and 60947-4-1 and carries UL/CSA listings. It also has CE declarations for European compliance and IP protection ratings for auxiliary terminals (IP20) and main terminals (IP10). This makes the device suitable for global deployment in industrial environments requiring certified electrical protection and safe operation.
Leverage modular add-on auxiliary contact blocks for scalable control logic, and mount on a standard TH35 rail to optimize space. Use screw terminals for high-cycle connections and ensure proper torque (6 N·m main, 1.2 N·m auxiliary/control). The compact footprint and wide coil voltage compatibility reduce inventory, accelerate commissioning, and minimize downtime during maintenance or expansion.
