FAQs

Installation requires mounting on a TH35 DIN rail using the compatible TH35-15 or TH35-7.5 profiles. Connect the main circuit to the screw terminals rated for flexible or rigid conductors and ensure the correct torque of 2.5 N·m. The control circuit uses 100–250 V across the coil terminals, with a torque of 1.2 N·m. Maintain proper wire sizing as 0.75–2.5 mm² for control and up to 16 mm² for main circuits, and observe IP20 protection for coil and main terminals.
For AC-3 operation, this device provides support across multiple voltages: at 690 V and 60 °C, Ie ≈ 10.5 A and Pe ≈ 9 kW; at 415–440 V and 60 °C, Ie around 20–23 A with similar power ranges. Icw is 300 A for 10 s, and the rated thermal current is 55 A at 40 °C open air. These ratings help ensure safe motor starting and running within predefined thermal limits.
Yes, it is designed for UL lighting and general electric appliance applications. It complies with IEC/EN 60947-1 and 60947-4-1, UL 60335-2-40, UL 508, CSA equivalents, and CE/UK declarations of conformity. The device also carries UL/CSA recognition and a CB certificate, enabling cross-border panel builds with confidence in safety and performance.
AF technology provides a wide control voltage range, helping the device tolerate voltage variations without false tripping, which reduces panel energy waste and extends service intervals. The built-in surge protection further guards coil integrity, while the modular design supports add-on auxiliary blocks, enabling quick upgrades without replacing the core unit. This translates to lower maintenance costs and improved system uptime.
By combining a 12-pole configuration with robust AC-1 and AC-3 ratings, high insulation and short-circuit withstand capabilities, and a compact footprint, the device reduces panel real estate and wiring complexity. The wide control voltage tolerance minimizes power waste, and the option to expand with auxiliary blocks lowers future upgrade costs, delivering faster payback and safer, regulation-compliant automation.
