3P configuration with 160 A rated current and 1000 V insulation supports heavy-duty power distribution in industrial switchgear. This combination minimizes the number of devices required in multi-pole assemblies, reducing panel footprint and wiring complexity while maintaining safe switching performance. The padlockable 0-position feature and door interlock in I and II positions protect personnel during maintenance, enabling compliant lockout/tagout practices and reducing the risk of accidental energization. The included black IP65 pistol-type handle with a shaft extension provides smooth manual operation, while the snap-on design allows quick removal for padlocking at the designated position, improving maintenance efficiency and uptime. Base mounting and screw-terminal connectivity simplify installation and future servicing, with a clear path for inspections and fault tracing. The device’s RoHS/Reach/CMRT material declarations support regulatory compliance and sustainability programs, while the IP20 front protection rating keeps the control interface protected in typical cabinet environments. Designed for compatibility with standard switchgear architectures, it reduces engineering time for 3P bypass and transfer configurations and supports scalable deployment in motor control centers and distribution panels. Power loss is limited to 2.4 W per pole under rated conditions, helping to minimize cooling requirements and energy use in dense panels. The device also features a standard top-in, bottom-out (or bottom-in, top-out) line-terminal arrangement, aiding straightforward wiring and inspection during commissioning. The combination of 3P operation, 1000 V rated insulation, and robust mechanical interlock provides a reliable solution for preventive maintenance, downtime reduction, and long-term total cost of ownership improvements.

FAQs
Install the unit using base mounting with proper alignment for Top In – Bottom Out or Bottom In – Top Out configurations. Connect via screw terminals and tighten to 15–22 N·m per IEC 60947-1. Use the included shaft and handle extension for smooth operation, and remove the extension when you padlock the base handle to ensure a secure lockout.
The switch supports 160 A operating current across 380–415 V, 500 V, and 690 V categories, with a rated insulation voltage of 1000 V and a rated impulse withstand voltage of 12 kV. It delivers 2.4 W per pole in loss at rated conditions, enabling predictable thermal performance and compact cooling requirements in dense switchgear assemblies.
Yes. The product carries a CE Declaration of Conformity and RoHS/Reach declarations for AC switches and fusegear, along with CMRT documentation. These certifications support regulatory compliance in EU and global markets and help simplify supplier qualification and risk management for regulated deployments.
Yes. The 0-position padlockable feature is specifically designed for lockout/tagout applications, and the door interlock engages in I and II positions as well as when padlocked. This enables secure maintenance procedures, reduces the risk of inadvertent energization, and aligns with standard LOTO practices in industrial environments.
The device provides a durable 3P bypass solution with clearly defined torque specs, screw-terminal connections, and a robust handle system suitable for frequent operation. Its padlockable 0-position feature supports safe maintenance windows, while the compact footprint and base mounting simplify upgrades and retrofits. Overall, this can shorten maintenance cycles, improve uptime, and lower total cost of ownership in motor control centers and distribution panels.
