FAQs

Install the 3-pole block contactor using the main circuit bars for the line side and use the integrated auxiliary contacts for control circuits. Follow IEC 60947-4-1 guidelines, ensure IP40 protection on auxiliary terminals, and mount within the 90 mm width enclosure. Use compatible add-on contact blocks as your control needs grow, keeping wiring neat and serviceable.
AC-1 continuous current rating is 200 A at 690 V. AC-3 ratings vary by voltage: at 415 V, 140 A; at 440 V, 140 A; at 500 V, 80 A; at 690 V, 80 A; at 380/400 V, 140 A; at 220/230/240 V, 140 A. This makes the device suitable for motor starting under high-inertia loads while providing protective margins for switching.
Yes. The AF140-30-11B-33 supports AC-3 operation up to 75 kW (at nominal voltages) and provides reliable starting for motors with high starting torque when paired with appropriate starters or soft-start accessories. Its 3 NO main contacts and 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contact help implement robust control logic for safe motor engagement.
The contactor carries CE and UL/CSA certifications with additional UKCA and EAC attestations. It also aligns with RoHS, REACH, and TSCA declarations, supporting global compliance for both B2B and international project needs.
AF technology provides a wide control voltage tolerance, reducing nuisance trips and stabilizing operation in networks with voltage fluctuations. Coil consumption data shows holding and pull-in values that optimize energy use across operating conditions. Over time, this can lower panel power losses and improve overall system reliability, delivering measurable ROI in energy-intensive applications.
