AF technology with built‑in surge protection reduces switching transients and energy waste, delivering measurable efficiency gains and longer motor life in demanding environments. The 3-pole main contact set rated for 690 V and 200 A (AC‑1) provides robust motor protection for loads up to 75 kW at 400 V AC, while AC‑3 performance ensures reliable starting and switching of three‑phase motors. The block design enables rapid field extensions with auxiliary contact blocks, lowering total system costs and simplifying future upgrades. Its compact footprint (90 mm wide, 126 mm deep, 150 mm high) and a weight of 1.3 kg streamline panel layouts and installation time. Wiring is versatile with flexible 2 x 10–70 mm² or rigid 1 x 10–95 mm² main-circuit connections, and coil terminals IP20 for safer, cleaner control wiring. Power loss remains manageable (18 W per pole in AC‑1 and 9 W per pole in AC‑3), supporting energy-efficient operation in continuous duty. The device is built for durability with 5 million mechanical cycles and a high short-time withstand capability, addressing common reliability objections in continuous industrial operation. With CE/UKCA and UL/CSA certifications, compliance and cross‑border deployment are straightforward, and the option to pair it with standard DIN rail systems and accessible CAD drawings accelerates engineering workflows. The green engineering story is reinforced by RoHS/REACH compliance and EcoSolutions attributes, delivering sustainable material content and efficient end‑of‑life recycling pathways for modern automation projects.

FAQs
The unit uses a block contactor design with main circuit connections rated for up to 2 x 10–70 mm² flexible or 1 x 10–95 mm² rigid conductors. Ensure coil supply is 110–120 V at 50/60 Hz and wire the auxiliary circuit as required. The device supports add‑on auxiliary contact blocks and utilizes 90 mm width and standard mounting footprint for straightforward DIN rail or panel mounting, reducing commissioning time and enabling scalable control architectures.
Rated Operational Current AC‑1 (Ie) at 690 V: 200 A at 40 °C, 175 A at 60 °C, and 160 A at 70 °C. Rated Operational Current AC‑3 at 415–690 V varies by voltage and temperature, with values around 140 A at 60 °C for several voltages, and 80 A at 690 V for higher voltage classes. These ratings guide motor sizing and ensure reliable starting and running under defined ambient conditions.
Yes. The device offers a high short‑time withstand current (Icw) with values up to about 1460 A for 10 s and 477 A for 1 minute at 40 °C in free air from a cold state, plus a rated making/breaking capacity compatible with typical motor starting profiles. Its rugged 3P design and AF technology help manage inrush while protecting connected equipment.
The contactor features CE and UKCA declarations, UL/CSA certification, and a UL certificate for AF116‑30 to AF146‑30 variants. It also complies with RoHS II and REACH, with WEEE B2B classification, ensuring safe disposal and environmental responsibility across global markets.
Power loss is 18 W per pole in AC‑1 and 9 W per pole in AC‑3, contributing to lower energy consumption in continuous duty. The built‑in surge protection and fast operation reduce panel heat and electromagnetic interference, while modular accessories simplify expansion and maintenance. Combined, these factors shorten commissioning, lower life‑cycle costs, and improve panel reliability in demanding industrial settings.
