CE and UL/CSA certifications, UKCA and EAC markings reinforce global applicability across markets, while the AF technology supports a broad control voltage range and surge protection. This combination delivers reliable operation, reduced panel energy consumption, and easier integration, with compatibility for add-on auxiliary contact blocks and a wide range of accessories to future-proof your control architecture.

Product Information

Extended Description

1SFL467062R1422 ABB: The AF146B-30-22RT-14 is a 3 pole - 1000 V IEC or 600 V UL contactor with pre-mounted auxiliary contacts and ring tongue ferrules, controlling motors up to 75 kW / 400 V AC (AC-3) or 100 hp / 480 V UL and switching power circuits up to 225 A (AC-1) or 200 A UL general use. Thanks to the AF technology, the contactor has a wide control voltage range (250-500 V 50/60 Hz ), managing large control voltage variations, reducing panel energy consumptions and ensuring distinct operations in unstable networks. Furthermore, surge protection is built-in, offering a compact solution. AF contactors have a block type design, can be easily extended with add-on auxiliary contact blocks and an additional wide range of accessories.

FAQs

Yes. The AF146B-30-22RT-14 is rated for main circuit operation at 1000 V and ships with pre-mounted auxiliary contacts (NO/NC). It supports easy extension with add-on auxiliary contact blocks, enabling scalable control circuits without replacing the base unit.
For AC-1, the device handles up to 225 A at 1000 V (varying with ambient temperature). For AC-3, ratings include 146 A at 415 V and 60–70 °C depending on voltage, with 75 kW maximum at higher voltages such as 415–690 V. These figures support motor starting and switching of typical industrial loads.
Conveyors, pumps, fans, and other general power circuits in automation environments benefit from the AF146B’s 3P configuration, 3 NO main contacts, 2 NO/2 NC auxiliary contacts, and robust control voltage tolerance. Its compact form and easy expansion make it suitable for scalable motor control and protection schemes.
The AF146B-30-22RT-14 carries CE and UKCA declarations, UL/CSA listings, UR/cURus certificates, EAC, and RoHS/TSCA alignments. ABB also provides related DoC / A2L certificates and environmental declarations (EPD), ensuring compliance for global deployments.
With built‑in surge protection, long mechanical durability (up to 5 million cycles), and energy-efficient coil operation, maintenance cycles are extended and energy costs reduced. The ability to extend with auxiliary blocks and accessories minimizes panel redesigns, shortening downtime and delivering a favorable ROI in high‑demand industrial environments.
