Product Information

Extended Description

1SFL547062R1122 ABB: The AF265B-30-22RT-11 is a 3 pole - 1000 V IEC or 600 V UL contactor with pre-mounted auxiliary contacts and ring tongue ferrules, controlling motors up to 132 kW / 400 V AC (AC-3) or 200 hp / 480 V UL and switching power circuits up to 400 A (AC-1) or 350 A UL general use. Thanks to the AF technology, the contactor has a wide control voltage range (24-60 V 50/60 Hz and 20-60 V DC), managing large control voltage variations, reducing panel energy consumptions and ensuring distinct operations in unstable networks. Furthermore, surge protection is built-in, offering a compact solution. AF contactors have a block type design, can be easily extended with add-on auxiliary contact blocks and an additional wide range of accessories.

FAQs

Install the device in a standard control cabinet with the main circuit bars sized for 1000 V operation. Connect the three-phase input to the main contacts, wire the coil to the control circuit within 24-60 VAC or 20-60 VDC, and attach the pre-mounted auxiliary contacts as required for signaling and interlocking. Ensure proper torque on lugs and maintain clearances per relevant standards.
Main circuit rated voltage is 1000 V, with AC-3 current ratings up to 250–265 A depending on voltage and ambient temperature, and AC-1 current up to 350 A at 1000 V. Coil voltage options are 24–60 V AC or 20–60 V DC. It also offers a 14 W power loss per pole and 5 million mechanical cycles.
Yes. The AF technology supports a broad control-voltage range of 24–60 VAC or 20–60 V DC, enabling stable operation despite control-signal variations and helping minimize nuisance tripping in networks with voltage fluctuations.
The product complies with IEC/EN 60947-1 and 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, and CSA equivalents, with CE and UKCA declarations for global deployment. It is designed to meet safety and performance requirements for industrial motor control and protection components.
With a mechanical durability of 5 million cycles and low per-pole power loss of 14 W, maintenance intervals can be extended and energy costs reduced. Its modular design with add-on auxiliary blocks supports scalable control schemes, enabling longer service life and a faster return on investment in automation projects.
