FAQs
Begin by mounting the 4P block in a suitable panel space. Connect the Main Circuit bars to the incoming and outgoing lines, wire the coil to a 48-130 V control circuit (AC or DC as specified), and attach the 2 NO and 2 NC auxiliary contacts as required. Ensure proper tightening torque and verify clearance for ventilation. The device supports add-on auxiliary blocks for extended signaling or feedback.
For AC-3 operation at 415 V, the AF265B-40-22-12 is rated up to 265 A, corresponding to approximately 132 kW. At other voltage points, ratings vary (e.g., 690 V versions around 250 A). For AC-1 applications, current ratings up to 400 A are listed at 690 V, with performance depending on ambient temperature and wiring. Always select according to your actual supply and motor FLA.
Yes. The AF265B-40-22-12 is designed for high surge and switching demands, featuring built-in surge protection and robust AC-3 ratings for motor starting. Its 4P configuration and auxiliary contacts support complex start/stop logic, while its compact AF technology helps minimize panel heat and energy use during startup.
This family carries CE, UL/CSA, and UKCA markings, along with CCC and EAC declarations where applicable. RoHS II compliance and REACH declarations are also provided, supporting global procurement. These certifications help ensure regulatory alignment across diverse markets and customer requirements.
AF technology offers a wide control voltage range, reducing over-wiring and energy waste in variable networks. Built-in surge protection lowers arcing and contact wear, extending service life. The compact, modular design enables easy upgrades with auxiliary blocks, reducing panel space and overall installation costs while delivering measurable energy savings and faster commissioning.
