FAQs

The AF370-30-22-31 is a 3P block contactor designed to work with add-on auxiliary contact blocks and standard control circuits. It supports 24-60 V AC or 20-60 V DC coil voltages, requires appropriate torque on main and control terminals, and uses main circuit bars for robust power connection. Ensure proper wiring of NO and NC auxiliary contacts to PLC or relay logic and verify protective devices are sized for the rated currents.
For AC-3 operation, the AF370-30-22-31 provides up to 370 A at 415-690 V, with corresponding rated operational power up to around 315 kW at 690 V. These ratings enable reliable motor starting for large conveyors, pumps, and fans, with a heavy-duty life suitable for frequent switching in demanding industrial environments.
Yes. The device is specified for motors up to 200 kW at 400 V AC (AC-3), using three main contacts and robust insulation. With a 1000 V main circuit rating and high breaking capacity, it supports heavy startup loads while maintaining safe, compliant operation in industrial automation environments.
The AF370-30-22-31 carries CE conformity and UL/CSA General Use ratings, along with RoHS and REACH declarations. It also includes a CE declaration of conformity for the AF range and UL-listed components. These certifications support compliant installation in many regions and simplify procurement for regulated projects.
AF technology provides a wide control voltage range, reducing panel energy consumption by tolerating voltage variations without sacrificing coil performance. The unit also offers built-in surge protection, modular accessories, and a long mechanical life (millions of cycles), translating to lower maintenance intervals and a favorable total cost of ownership for motor control in automated facilities.
