Quick Summary

ABB AF370B contactor is a high-capacity motor controller for 3-phase motors used in industrial automation. In dynamic manufacturing environments, voltage fluctuations and panel heat can trigger nuisance trips and higher energy use. This device features a wide control voltage range and built-in surge protection, supporting reliable operation in unstable networks. CE, UL/CSA and UKCA certifications provide global compliance for panel builders and OEMs. Designed for easy integration, AF technology plus pre-mounted auxiliary contacts and scalable add-on blocks simplify wiring, maintenance, and future expansion. Group-rated contactor supports AC-1 up to 400 A and AC-3 up to 370 A at common voltages, enabling one device for multiple drive configurations.

Product Information

Extended Description

1SFL607262R1322 ABB: The AF370B-40-22RT-13 is a 4 pole - 1000 V IEC or 600 V UL contactor with pre-mounted auxiliary contacts and ring tongue ferrules, controlling motors up to 200 kW / 400 V AC (AC-3) / and switching power circuits up to 525 A (AC-1) or 420 A UL general use. Thanks to the AF technology, the contactor has a wide control voltage range (100-250 V 50/60 Hz and DC), managing large control voltage variations, reducing panel energy consumptions and ensuring distinct operations in unstable networks. Furthermore, surge protection is built-in, offering a compact solution. AF contactors have a block type design, can be easily extended with add-on auxiliary contact blocks and an additional wide range of accessories.
