The AF1250-30-22-70 leverages AF technology to tolerate a wide control voltage range of 100–250 V AC, 50/60 Hz or DC, which reduces control circuit failures caused by voltage fluctuations and lowers energy waste in control panels. This directly improves line-side reliability and enables fewer panel revisions during commissioning, especially in HVAC, pumps, and conveyors where supply conditions vary. The three-pole configuration with three main NO contacts plus two NO and two NC auxiliary contacts provides flexible control logic for start/stop sequences and interlocking, enabling more robust motor protection routines and simplified wiring. Built-in surge protection further protects coil circuits from voltage spikes common in industrial environments, translating to reduced maintenance and longer component life. The main circuit uses 50 mm² busbars, supporting high current ratings with minimal voltage drop, which improves overall system efficiency and reduces heat in enclosure spaces. The block design is compact yet scalable, allowing easy addition of auxiliary contact blocks to meet evolving control needs without a full redesign. Compatibility with standard 50 mm² main circuit connections and a range of accessories lowers replacement costs and accelerates installation, even in retrofit projects. The device is designed for IEC 60947-4-1 and UL general use ratings, giving engineers confidence to deploy it in diverse global sites while maintaining predictable performance and procurement consistency. With an emphasis on modularity, maintenance becomes straightforward, as field technicians can replace or augment blocks without disturbing downstream wiring, reducing downtime in critical manufacturing lines.

FAQs

This three-pole block contactor uses main circuit bars (50 mm²) for connections and coil terminals that are IP20 protected. It ships with a block design that is easily extended with add-on auxiliary contact blocks, making retrofit and expansion straightforward in panel cabinets.
Rated Operational Current AC-1 at 1000 V is up to 1260 A (40 °C), with reductions at higher ambient temperatures. For DC-1, the device supports 1250 A in series configurations across 220–850 V ranges, ensuring strong performance for DC motor controls.
Ideal for industrial motor protection and control in conveyors, pumps, compressors, and fans. Its wide control voltage range, built-in surge protection, and ability to extend with auxiliary contacts make it suitable for complex start/stop sequences and interlocking in harsh electrical environments.
The AF1250-30-22-70 complies with IEC 60947-4-1, UL general use ratings, CE conformity, and UL/CSA listings. Additional certifications across various regions (RINA, BV, ABS, etc.) support global deployment and regulatory alignment.
The modular block design simplifies maintenance and future expansion with add-on auxiliary blocks. Built-in surge protection reduces coil fault incidents, and the use of 50 mm² main circuit bars lowers contact heating. These factors translate to lower downtime, easier spares management, and a favorable return on investment in demanding automation environments.
