Up to six control functions with an RTC extension consolidate logic in a single KNX (TP) device. This reduces the number of separate controllers and simplifies fault tracing, accelerating commissioning for complex lighting and HVAC sequences. Application-friendly in offices and hotels where centralized control is essential. The integrated temperature sensor and display provide real-time feedback, enabling tighter comfort control and energy management while reducing the need for external sensors. This supports efficient space conditioning and simplified monitoring in commercial environments. With five inputs, including four binary and one analogue, plus support for external 1-10 V/0-10 V sensors and PT1000 temperature sensors, the unit offers flexible sensor integration and wiring efficiency. It lowers installation time and component costs by minimizing adapters and additional modules. Ideal for occupancy sensing, temperature-based control, and scene triggering in KNX deployments. The KNX TP bus connection ensures robust communication and scalable networks, enabling easy expansion as project requirements grow. This reduces retrofit risk and enhances long-term system reliability in multi-zone buildings. The compact flush-mounted 71 mm square enclosure (33 mm built-in depth) fits standard modular inserts, minimizing cabling and facilitating retrofits in tight enclosures. It also supports straightforward front-end servicing and quick replacement without disassembly. The device carries RoHS, REACH, and CE declarations, with a SCIP code and WEEE alignment, reflecting strong regulatory compliance for European installations. These certifications reduce risk during procurement and speed project sign-off for data-driven building automation initiatives.

FAQs

The device is designed for KNX (TP) bus systems and uses a standard bus connection terminal. It supports flush-mounted installation with a cover plate option (6108/61-xxx) and requires a 24 V power supply. This combination ensures reliable KNX TP communication in typical commercial enclosures while keeping wiring straightforward and centralized.
It provides five inputs: four binary and one analogue, plus support for external 1-10 V/0-10 V sensors and PT1000 temperature sensors. This flexible input set enables occupancy, temperature, and sensor-based control without needing extra modules, reducing cabling and simplifying commissioning in HVAC and lighting scenes.
Yes. The integrated temperature sensing, set-point display, and RTC extension support precise temperature control and timing sequences. When integrated with KNX routines, it enables demand-based lighting, climate control, and schedule-based automation, delivering measurable energy savings and improved occupant comfort in offices, hotels, and retail environments.
The device complies with CE conformity, RoHS, and REACH declarations and carries an IP20 rating for indoor use. It also aligns with SCIP, WEEE, and related environmental declarations, ensuring regulatory peace of mind for European installations and end-to-end compliance across the product lifecycle.
By consolidating control functions, inputs, and timing into a single flush-mounted unit, commissioning time is reduced and wiring complexity diminishes. Fewer components mean lower capex and faster project sign-off, while the KNX TP scalability supports future expansion without replacing hardware, delivering a favorable return on investment in commercial automation projects.
