Product Information
Extended Description
3AUA0000227302 ABB: The ACH580 Packaged Drive includes an ACH580 drive in a UL (NEMA) Type 1, 12 or 3R enclosure with either an input disconnect switch and fast acting fuses or an input circuit breaker. It is available from 1 to 350 hp at 230/460/575 V. The ACH580 Packaged Drive provides a door-mounted input disconnect switch (padlockable in the OFF position), electronic motor overload protection, a door-mounted control panel with graphical display for local control, provisions for external control connections, and serial communications capability
Integrated input disconnect with selectable protection (fuses or circuit breaker) streamlines safety compliance and reduces field wiring; the padlockable OFF door switch accelerates safe maintenance in dense mechanical rooms and retrofit projects. Electronic motor overload protection guards critical motors from overheating and overload events, extending motor life and reducing replacement costs in high-demand HVAC applications. A door-mounted control panel with graphical display enables local tuning and status checks, speeding commissioning and minimizing wiring errors while supporting seamless integration with building management systems. Serial communications capability and external control connections enable scalable automation across facilities, enabling remote monitoring, energy optimization, and centralized control. With enclosure options (UL (NEMA) Type 1, 12, or 3R) and a broad hp range (1 to 350 hp) at 230/460/575 V, installation is flexible and retrofit-friendly, lowering total project costs.
