Product Information

Extended Description

3AUA0000227401 ABB: The ACH580 Packaged Drive includes an ACH580 drive in a UL (NEMA) Type 1, 12 or 3R enclosure with either an input disconnect switch and fast acting fuses or an input circuit breaker. It is available from 1 to 350 hp at 230/460/575 V. The ACH580 Packaged Drive provides a door-mounted input disconnect switch (padlockable in the OFF position), electronic motor overload protection, a door-mounted control panel with graphical display for local control, provisions for external control connections, and serial communications capability
Input disconnect with padlockable OFF enhances safety during maintenance, reducing lockout/tagout time and preventing accidental restart. Centralized protection and power switching simplify panel wiring and improve fault isolation, delivering faster commissioning and safer service in mechanical rooms. Electronic motor overload protection minimizes motor stress and energy waste by maintaining safe torque and current levels, extending motor life and reducing unplanned downtime. The door-mounted control panel with a graphical display enables quick local setup, diagnostics, and troubleshooting, cutting commissioning time and empowering on-site technicians. Broad electrical compatibility with 1 to 350 hp and 230/460/575 V supports diverse HVAC applications while keeping inventory lean. Serial communications capability facilitates seamless integration with building management systems and industrial automation platforms, improving monitoring and control across facilities. The UL Type 1/NEMA-friendly enclosure design reduces panel depth, lowers installation costs, and accelerates retrofit projects in existing plants.
