Product Information
Extended Description
3AUA0000227407 ABB: The ACH580 Packaged Drive includes an ACH580 drive in a UL (NEMA) Type 1, 12 or 3R enclosure with either an input disconnect switch and fast acting fuses or an input circuit breaker. It is available from 1 to 350 hp at 230/460/575 V. The ACH580 Packaged Drive provides a door-mounted input disconnect switch (padlockable in the OFF position), electronic motor overload protection, a door-mounted control panel with graphical display for local control, provisions for external control connections, and serial communications capability
The ACH580 Packaged Drive consolidates motor control in a compact, UL-listed enclosure, which reduces cabinet space and simplifies installation while maintaining compliance for HVAC applications. The built-in input disconnect switch with fast-acting fuses or a circuit breaker provides immediate protection, easing electrical code adherence and improving maintenance safety. Supporting 1 to 350 hp at 230/460/575 V, the drive scales from small to large fan and pump needs without multiple drives, enabling smoother project ramps and energy management. A door-mounted control panel with a graphical display delivers local control and diagnostics, and the unit offers external control connections plus serial communications for centralized monitoring and remote troubleshooting. Electronic motor overload protection minimizes motor damage, extending equipment life and reducing downtime. The padlockable OFF disconnect adds essential safety during service, while the packaged approach reduces wiring complexity and installation time, delivering faster ROI for HVAC retrofit and new-build projects.
