The 42 V DC coil delivers low power consumption, reducing energy use and heat in control cabinets, which translates to cooler enclosures and longer component life. This feature directly improves overall system reliability and lowers cooling costs in tight spaces where airflow is limited. The 3 main normally open contacts plus one auxiliary contact enable versatile control of motors, valves, and sensors in 3P/1P schemes, delivering predictable switching performance and simplifying wiring when space is at a premium. The compact 52.5 mm width and 46.7 mm depth with a 57.5 mm height footprint fits narrow panels while maintaining mechanical durability for up to 10 million cycles, supporting long-term uptime. Screw terminals and flexible connection options (ferrule and rigid) accelerate installation and reduce loom clutter, improving maintenance access. DIN rail mounting TH35-15 or TH35-7.5 complements modern switchgear, enabling quick retrofits and standardized cabinet layouts. Rated for mains up to 690 V and DC up to 250 V on the main and auxiliary circuits, this device is suitable for motor control, fan drives, and centralized automation tasks. The unit supports high short-time withstand and controlled switching frequencies, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial environments and helping maintain process stability with minimal electrical noise.

FAQs

The BC7-30-10 supports DIN rail mounting on TH35-15 or TH35-7.5 rails and can also be wall-mounted. It uses screw terminals for mains and auxiliary circuits, with wire-stripping lengths of 9 mm. This combination simplifies retrofits and new panel builds by matching common electrical enclosures and terminal layouts.
For AC-3 operation, the device provides up to 12 A at 230/400 V and 9 A at 500 V, with 3 kW at 230 V and up to 5.5 kW at 400/500 V (NO at 690 V gives 3 kW). AC-1 ratings show 20 A at 220/240 V and lower currents at higher voltages. These figures support motor control and load switching in common industrial drives.
Yes. It is designed for control of single- and three-phase loads up to several kilowatts, including 5.5 kW at 400–500 V AC. The 3NO + 1Aux configuration allows sequencing and interlocking, while the compact form factor enables integration into small machines and compact control panels without compromising switching performance.
The device carries CE and UL/CSA approvals, CB and UKCA where applicable, plus IP20 protection for terminals. It aligns with IEC/EN 60947-1, IEC/EN 60947-4-1, and related standards, ensuring safe use in industrial environments and compatibility with global regulatory requirements.
Coil consumption is 3.5 W per pole, with both holding and pull-in values at DC. This low coil power reduces energy draw and heat in the control circuit, contributing to lower cooling costs and longer relay life. Mechanical durability is rated at 10 million cycles, supporting long service life and reduced replacement costs in high‑duty applications.
