Feature → Business Impact → Application: The BC7-30-10-07 Mini Contactor uses a 3-pole main circuit with 3 NO contacts and 1 auxiliary NO contact, delivering robust control for small to medium loads while minimizing panel space. This translates to a higher packing density in control cabinets and reduced wiring complexity in machine builders and building automation systems. Application-wise, this makes it ideal for control of single or three-phase loads up to 5.5 kW (AC-3) and 20 A (AC-1), enabling compact, energy-efficient motor start/stop sequences in conveyors, pumps, and fans. The 12 V DC coil and coil consumption of 3.5 W per holding/pull-in reduce energy draw and heat generation, supporting cooler enclosures and longer device life in high-cycle environments. For installation, screw terminals and DIN-rail compatibility (TH35-15 or TH35-7.5) offer straightforward wiring and quick retrofit into existing ABB or third-party control panels. The rated insulation voltages (690 V main circuit) and 6 kV impulse withstand provide clear margins for safety and compliance, helping you meet electrical codes across multiple jurisdictions without redesigning the control architecture. Mechanical durability of 10,000,000 cycles and a wide operating temperature range (-25 to +55 °C) ensure dependable performance in harsh industrial settings, reducing unplanned downtime and maintenance costs. The device’s dimensioning (52.5 mm width, 46.7 mm depth, 57.5 mm height) and weight (0.175 kg) contribute to fine-tuned space planning and transportation logistics in panel assembly and field installations. In short, this mini contactor aligns with long-term ROI goals by delivering reliability, space efficiency, and easy integration with existing DIN-rail ecosystems and control circuits.

FAQs
This mini contactor is designed for TH35-15 or TH35-7.5 DIN rail mounting, offering secure, fast installation in standard control panels. It also supports wall mounting, giving flexibility for compact machine enclosures and retrofit projects. The screw terminals accept flexible and rigid conductor connections within the specified cross-sections, simplifying wiring harness integration in new builds or upgrades.
The device provides a 3-pole main circuit with 3 NO contacts and 1 NO auxiliary contact, rated for mains up to 690 V and IP20 protection. In AC-3 operation, it handles up to 5.5 kW (230 V to 400 V) and 12 A at 230/240 V, making it suitable for motor control, pumps, and fans in light to medium industrial loads.
Yes, it uses a 12 V DC coil and is compatible with DC control circuits. It meets IEC/EN 60947-4-1 and UL 60947-4-1 standards, with UL/CSA listings, CE marking, and IP20 protection. These certifications provide confidence for global deployment in equipment intended for commercial buildings and industrial environments.
With dimensions of 52.5 mm width, 46.7 mm depth, and 57.5 mm height, the unit offers compact footprint suitable for dense control panels. Screw terminals simplify wiring, and DIN rail compatibility minimizes mounting time while maintaining secure operation. These factors reduce panel size, cabling length, and installation labor, contributing to faster commissioning and lower total installed cost.
The device features a mechanical durability of 10,000,000 cycles and coil consumption of 3.5 W, which translates to lower energy usage and reduced heat in the control cabinet. Maintenance requirements are typically low, as the robust contact arrangement and solid insulation withstand industrial conditions, delivering improved uptime and favorable total cost of ownership over traditional relays.
