Product description
The modular system facilitates basic configuration of the racks, thanks to a vertical support rail with single-/3-phase infeed. The various socket modules to supply the active components may be snap-fitted into the support rail. The various modules, earthing pins, IEC320 etc. may be inserted into the support rail in any combination. This is easily achieved, even by non-electricians, thanks to the shock hazard protected plug & play system.

Product description
DK PSM socket module, for modular PSM power distribution. Occupies 1 slot in the busbar. CH (type J, SEV 1011), 4 x T23, 5-way, black, WHD 52 x 250 x 45 mm
DK 7856.191 PSM socket module occupies one busbar slot and snaps into the vertical support rail, enabling 4 CH type J sockets to be configured in single-slot or multi-slot layouts. This flexibility speeds rack configuration, reduces wiring complexity, and minimizes spare parts, cutting installation time and inventory across OEMs and maintenance teams. The module is designed for modular PSM power distribution in Rittal enclosures and automation cabinets where space is tight and future expansion is planned, ensuring a scalable solution that grows with your line. Safety and ease of use: The shock hazard protected plug‑and‑play system ensures safe energization and reduces the likelihood of user error during installation or upgrades. By enabling non‑electricians to snap in sockets and connect feeds without bespoke cabling, it lowers training costs and accelerates commissioning in panel builds and factory floors. This directly supports lean manufacturing goals. Durable construction: The outer chassis is aluminium anodised for corrosion resistance, providing a robust backbone for demanding environments, while the PA6 GF 30 V1 socket inserts deliver reliable electrical contact under vibration and temperature cycles. This combination extends service life in industrial racks and reduces maintenance interruptions, translating to higher uptime. Compatibility and expansion: The DK 7856.191 integrates with configurable busbar systems and maintains a consistent footprint (52 mm width, 250 mm height, 45 mm depth) for predictable panel design. Earthing pins, IEC 320 connectors, and other accessories can be added along the rail in any combination, enabling tailored power-distribution topologies. Electrical and environmental specs: Rated 110–230 V AC at 50/60 Hz and 16 A, the module supports single-slot occupancy and is compatible with a wide range of modular PSM configurations. Operating temperature ranges from 5 °C to 45 °C with 5–95% non-condensing humidity, and a pack weight of 0.363 kg maintains enclosure balance. Operational efficiency and procurement: With ETIM EC000330 and ECLASS 27142604 classifications and a straightforward 1-piece pack, this module simplifies BOMs and supplier selection while ensuring consistent parts across global projects.
