Product description
A power meter and switching functions for the output slots can be added to any PSM busbar with these PSM plug-in modules. The modules are also suitable for upgrading existing PSM installations if it becomes necessary to record the power data or add a switching option for the connected equipment. There are three variants available with different socket types. In the PSM busbar, the PSM modules occupy two module slots each. Measurements are displayed locally on a backlit LC display. For quick checks, the colour changes to red if current and power limits are exceeded.

FAQs

The module occupies two busbar slots and is designed for plug‑and‑play installation. Simply slide it into the two required slots, connect the CAN bus to the CMC III system via the included 1 m CAN cable, and wire the 230 V AC input to the bus‑bar supply. The module provides no‑voltage risk during installation due to its protective enclosure and clear local display for quick verification.
It measures voltage (V), current (A), and frequency (Hz) with a total distribution output of up to 3,680 W per module. The outputs include 4 x protective CEE 7/3 sockets and 2 x C13 sockets, with a maximum switching load of 4,000 VA per relay. The device uses a dual‑coil, bistable relay configuration for reliable switching.
Yes. Its CAN bus interfaces to CMC III, together with Modbus/TCP, SNMPv3, and OPC‑UA support, enables integration with SCADA and EMS systems common in data centers and manufacturing floors. The compact two‑slot form factor and plug‑and‑play approach minimize maintenance windows while delivering module‑level energy data for capacity planning and energy management.
The module conforms to the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and EN 50 600‑2‑2 standards, with an IP20 protection rating. It is CE‑compliant and designed for safe operation in industrial environments, aligning with typical European regulatory and safety expectations.
By enabling real‑time energy measurement at the module level and providing alarm management via CAN bus, you gain visibility into energy waste and overload risks, reducing unplanned downtime. The plug‑and‑play installation minimizes commissioning time, while long‑term data supports energy optimization programs and better asset utilization.
