Product description
PDU basic 16A/3P CEE 18xC13+3xC19, PDU basic, Compact basic power distributor, WHD: 44x845x70 mm, IEC 60 320: 18 x C13, 3 x C19
Compact, rugged aluminum housing provides structural strength with minimal weight, reducing handling risk during rack installs and supporting long-term reliability in busy data centers. The anodised surface resists corrosion and wear from routine maintenance, while integrated slots simplify cable management inside VX IT frames. This enclosure design also enables horizontal mounting at 482.6 mm (19") level or vertical placement in zero-U space, without compromising service access or airflow. Power routing is defined by 18 x C13 and 3 x C19 outlets, all wired to a 16 A maximum per 400 V AC supply, with an 11 kW total power envelope. This topology supports mixed equipment—servers, storage, and network appliances—within a single, compact unit, reducing the number of separate power strips and associated thermal hotspots. Integrated manufacturing quality and connector locks help ensure reliable connections even in high-vibration environments. Infeeds are configured as a single 3-phase input, paired with a standard 3 m connection cable, giving installers predictable, repeatable wiring from the main distribution to the IT rack. The choice of CEE-type connectors aligns with common data center power architectures, simplifying procurement and spare parts planning. This setup allows quick reconfiguration for changes in rack height or device mix without downtime. Mounting versatility is further enhanced by the tool-free assembly workflow, and the availability of Type 3 overvoltage protection as an option with interchangeable arresters. The PDU supports seamless integration into VX IT enclosure frames or TS IT racks, and comes with assembly parts to speed up deployment. For teams seeking modularity, the design accommodates future capacity upgrades with minimal footprint. Compliance and safety are addressed through EMC Directive 2014/30/EU and EN 62368-1 certification, providing confidence in audits and data-center standards. Operating conditions cover a broad range: 5 °C to 50 °C, 10–95% ambient humidity, and storage from -20 °C to 70 °C, ensuring reliability in varied environments.
